Charlie White is wonderful.He's somebody I definatly look up to. This is the first work of his I saw. It was on a website about urban legends and it's a photo that some people thought was evidence of the legendary "goat sucker",the chupacabra. it's a digital manipulation but it's fantastiocly real looking and the pictures he puts together have such a pervasive mood.It's completly clear what he wants to bring across there isn't much misinterpertation to be had.check out this other work of his here. It's incredibly artificial looking and that's the way most of his work appears to be to me. But the effort and time he puts into each of his pictures is astounding to me.There is no way he whips these off fast,and I bet they're expensive too.that's what gives them that gloss,I suppose. BUT recently he released what could be my favorite work of his to date,that is the short film "Pink" that he did for adidas adicolor,in which adidas had seven directors each do a short film based around one of the colors used in their product...most of the are garbage a few are okay but "Pink" is amazing,I've watched it countless times and it still rocks. If I ever have half the talent this director/photographer has I'd be thrilled beyond comprehension....sorry for the fanboy post but it's been a while yes?
